Founded in 1880 in France, MOREL has a longstanding reputation for crafting exceptional eyewear. The brand began as a small workshop in the Jura region, an area renowned for its expertise in eyewear manufacturing. The company is still family-owned and currently led by the fourth generation of the Morel family.

Over the years, MOREL has evolved into a global name, blending traditional craftsmanship with modern technology. Designs range from bold, avant-garde styles to classic, timeless looks. MOREL has created the largest eyewear design centre in France, where designers, colourists, and graphic artists work hand in hand to create more than 700 models per year. Their teams have developed a patented hinge, without screws or welding, which draws its essence from a European design school of thought: functional design. Nothing is superfluous; everything is designed so that each element serves its function. The result: stunning MOREL eyeglasses that are sought after around the globe.

As a result, they have been awarded numerous prizes, including the prestigious Red Dot Award, the If Design and the Silmo d'Or, further testimony to the company’s excellence.
